A variety of cards from 1928-35, including bouts at the Hawks Auditorium, sponsored by the V.F.W. Post 1332 in Bennington. Cards featured local fighters matching their skills against boxers from Vermont, New York, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Georgia, and Canada. Hometown favorites like Kid Jack, Wild Freddie Wright, the "Rising Star" of Bennington, Emil Dupre, of Danby, and K. O. Kasper, of Burlington, fought the likes of Mike Fusco, of Albany, New York, Bill Mackey, of Worchester, Massachusetts, Charlie Shea, of Athol, Massachusetts, and Irish Paddy Flynn, of Boston.
